They will be starting soon! There's something special about Morristown when the holiday season rolls around. The trees begin to sparkle, festive decorations appear around the historic Green, and downtown takes on that wonderful small-town Christmas feeling.
Every year, the Morristown Green transforms into a holiday gathering place, bringing families, friends, and visitors together for one of Morris County's favorite seasonal traditions.
Turning the Green Into a Winter Wonderland
Before the first holiday visitors arrive, there's plenty of work happening behind the scenes. Holiday decorations are installed, trees are wrapped in twinkling lights, and festive displays begin taking shape throughout the Green.
It's a community tradition that takes planning, teamwork, and plenty of holiday spirit.
For longtime residents, seeing the decorations go up is a sure sign that Christmas is right around the corner. For first-time visitors, it's an opportunity to experience a little of what makes Morristown so special.
